This blog began as a description of our life in Al Ain, UAE (United Arab Emirates). Brn worked at the UAE University Libraries Deanship for three years and Bss homeschooled our four children, D, B, P, and O. After returning to the the USA for five years, we are living in Abu Dhabi now.

You can get much better flavours of pop tarts at Abela Al Ain.
I'll have to go check, they have never had any when I've been down there in the past. Thanks for the heads up.

No problem albux, Abela is out near Tawam Hospital. At the Tawam roundabout, you would turn north and then turn right soon after. There are some signs up showing where to turn, I think.
They are in a strange place there. When you go in turn right. They are between the freezers and the icecream stand up freezer near the roastery straight ahead of you. They are not in breakfast food where we all know they belong.
For some reason, Pop Tarts are in the non-Muslim section in Spinney's supermarkets which alarms me to think what pork/offal product could be in them!
PIG FAT in certain flavours....ughhh
