Goats, Al Ain
We saw these goats wandering about in the dunes just north of Towayya.
This blog began as a description of our life in Al Ain, UAE (United Arab Emirates). Brn worked at the UAE University Libraries Deanship for three years and Bss homeschooled our four children, D, B, P, and O. After returning to the the USA for five years, we are living in Abu Dhabi now.

I was browsing through the web and came across your blog. I grew up in Al Ain and the library where you work used to be one of my favorite places to read. It's a lot busier nowadays than it used to be and their collection of periodicals has shrunk in recent times but I still enjoy going there whenever I'm home.
Al Ain's a wonderful place to live, so quiet and unfussed. I hope you enjoy your time there.
