This blog began as a description of our life in Al Ain, UAE (United Arab Emirates). Brn worked at the UAE University Libraries Deanship for three years and Bss homeschooled our four children, D, B, P, and O. After returning to the the USA for five years, we are living in Abu Dhabi now.

Changes
I've obviously been having a lot of trouble keeping up with this blog, and one of the reasons is that I feel like I have lost the point of what it is about. So I'm going back to making this blog about everyday life in Al Ain and the UAE, and have started another one (here) where I will more rarely write about political or cultural type issues.
