This blog began as a description of our life in Al Ain, UAE (United Arab Emirates). Brn worked at the UAE University Libraries Deanship for three years and Bss homeschooled our four children, D, B, P, and O. After returning to the the USA for five years, we are living in Abu Dhabi now.

Hi there. Cheryl of 'Cheryl and Ron' here - have had lots of comments on our blog, can only think they must be from your mention of us. We are settling in well and will continue to add stuff. I looked at your photos - some of them are really great. I have not really worked out how to use the blogger site to the max yet - must get up to scratch with it! Cheryl
